WHAT ARE OUR SHIPPING TIMES AND COSTS?

At OOF! COFFEE, we aim to make the whole gifting to unboxing to brewing experience, a seamless and enjoyable one. 
This is why we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders with NO MINIMUM SPEND, even though we're a small business with small margins. Our priority is not profits, but your satisfaction.
We stand by our principles on delivering modern coffee, with a kick - for your ULTIMATE brewing pleasure.
For our coffee gift box pre-orders:
→ Receive an 'ORDER CONFIRMATION' email upon successful payment for your coffee gift box.
→ Wait for 'SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION' email after the pre-order cut-off date and expect to receive your parcel within 1-3 business days from receipt of the email.
→ Unbox and Enjoy!
Your Gift Box order delivery will be via NinjaVan, tracked and insured package. You will be issued a tracking number within your shipment confirmation email and you'll be able to manage your delivery on the NinjaVan portal.
Your standalone Coffee Pack orders will be via Singpost normal mail.Please contact the respective 3PL operators for more information with regard to any delivery/mailing issues. Do not hesitate to contact us should any further issues arise that require our intermediation.

HOW DOES THIS PRE-ORDER WORK?

We've made the whole gifting process really simple!

As every single coffee gift box is freshly batch-roasted, specially packed and its personalised contents written by hand.

Our pre-order model helps to ensure we maintain the absolute highest of standards and quality for your ultimate brewing pleasure.We understand that there is a wait, but we promise it'll be worth your time when you unbox it.

Here's how to secure your gift box:

STEP ONE
Place an order before the monthly cut-off date, through our website (oofcoffee.com) OR our Carousell page (user: oofcoffee) OR any of our social channels (@oofcoffee).

Do let us know who this gift is for, even if it yourself (self-love is important too), so we can personalise it for you. You have the option to dedicate a short message (50 words or less) that will be handwritten on a postcard as well!

On top of that, if you require the coffee beans to be grounded to your choice of grind, do let us know and we'll do it for you, completely free.

STEP TWO
An order confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful payment and this means your gift box is secure and reserved. Sit back, relax and leave the rest to us!

STEP THREE
All pre-orders will be shipped out the next business day after the pre-order cut-off date and you'll receive an email notifying you that your parcel is dispatched, along with a tracking number.Just these three simple steps and you'll have your personalised box of happiness shipped to you or your recipient's doorstep, ready for your caffeine fix.

Official Website: Our website is hosted with Shopify and that means your data and any form of transaction is encrypted and our store is certified to the Level 1 PCI DSS standard, along with a 256-bit SSL certificate, for your protection. Rest assured, we do not access any of your personal information apart from email for marketing purposes which permissions have to be explicitly given by you.

Carousell: We're a Verified and Premium Partner on Carousell. Placing an order through this platform is guaranteed and the equivalent of an order through our official website, upon the receipt of an order confirmation.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?

OOF! COFFEE accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. The total will be charged to your card when the order is confirmed.

  • Fast Checkout is also integrated on our system, allowing you to securely save your credit card details (we do not collect/store these details, only you can access it on your end), such that you don't have to re-enter them for future purchases.

  • PayPal: Shop easily online without having to enter your credit card details on the website. Your account will be charged once the order is completed. To register for a PayPal account, visit paypal.com.

WHAT ARE OUR RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY?

We understand that coffee is continuous process of discovery and experience, and that you might just be looking to try us out.

We at OOF! COFFEE, really hate hidden surprises. One of our core values is radical transparency and what you see, is what you get. We will not shortchange you on any account.

If you feel you're getting lesser of a value than what is deemed a fair price, speak to us at 'contact@oofcoffee.com', and we will gladly assist you.

Returned coffee is not accepted as it is a perishable item, unless there was an issue such as a damaged delivery.

If the item was claimed to be undelivered a local address, we will verify the status through the shipment tracking number. If the tracking number shows a confirmation of delivery with acknowledgment, we will not be liable to refund the order.

COFFEE NOTES AND TASTE

The flavor is the perception of tastes while the coffee is in the mouth. For example, a coffee might taste mildly of chocolate or caramel. The flavor of the coffee is separate from its aroma, you need to pay attention to what the taste buds can detect.

You can put your description together considering these factors. Begin with the acidity, followed by the aroma and close with the coffee's flavor. For example, you might describe coffee as follows: "The coffee has a crisp, bright flavor, with subtle hints of citrus and rich chocolates."


BRIGHT

Light Flavored coffee brings out the utmost origin character of the particular coffees. This coffee has crisp acidity, a mellow body, and bright flavors including tasting notes of chocolate, cherries, and caramel.

BALANCED

Balanced Flavored Coffee is a compromise that often brings out some of the best flavors with tasting notes including sweet, citric, caramel and a bright finish with an occasional hint of milk chocolate. This flavor often brings out a balanced complete coffee.

Our range of coffee that fits this profile are the: ANTIGUA GUATEMALA.


BOLD

Bold Flavored Coffee can be intense and punchy. Our BOLD beans are not roasted dark so as to still preserve the notes of the single-origin.

Our range of coffee that fits this profile are the: MEDELLÍN COLOMBIA.

 

GRIND OPTIONS, EXPLAINED

Whole Bean is well, the whole bean itself. Pretty self-explanatory but it's what we always recommend. Whole bean lasts WAAAY longer than if you would have grounded coffee. Maximum freshness and flavor right here!

Standard is what you typically see when you buy ground coffee from the grocery store (OOF! COFFEE is always better). The coffee grounds are small and this grind is best used for your all time favorite pour-over and drip coffees.

Espresso is the smallest we offer. This grind is used mostly for espresso coffees like your Stovetop Espresso / Moka Pot.

HOW DO I USE THE DRIP BAGS PROVIDED?

No worries, it's simple!

We throw in free drip bags for every gift box purchased so you can brew anytime and anywhere, even if you don't have brewing equipment.

All you need is boiling water and a cup!

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY COFFEE?

All coffee should be stored long term preferable below 25°C, at about 30% to 50% relative humidity. Keep them beans in a dry place away from moisture and sunlight. Roasted coffee beans should be kept in an air tight container, as well as ground coffee.

Unsealed or Coffee packaging that has been opened should be consumed within the month for maximum freshness and flavor.

HOW TO STORE COFFEE BEANS TO EXTEND ITS SHELF-LIFE?

Coffee does degrade over time and it degrades faster depending on the surface area - which is why we always recommend whole beans as they keep longer than ground coffee.

The best way to store these beans for the long term is to place them in an air-tight container in the freezer (NOT the refrigerator!).

You should dose and grind fresh only the amount you plan to use that day to avoid unnecessary exposure. Storing coffee in this way will keep out moisture and other contaminants.

The best way to store ground coffee to keep it fresh longer is by storing it in your freezer immediately after use.

Storing coffee in the freezer does not freeze the coffee, so it is always ready for use without any defrosting.

HOW TO TELL IF MY COFFEE IS BAD?

The simplest way to tell if it has gone bad is to use your sense of smell.

If the coffee has gone bad, the pleasant aroma will be gone and with it, pretty much of the taste.

No worries, using this coffee will not harm you in any way, it just wouldn't taste as nice if the aroma is gone. It may also lose its deep dark color and appear a lighter brown.

Every pack of OOF! COFFEE is freshly roasted with date of roast on the front of the pack, and the best consume/before on the back of the pack.
